The Fair Haven Yacht Club junior sailing program is open to both members and the community.

We provide sailors the opportunity to develop their sailing skills in a fun, safe environment.

2026 PROGRAM

JUNE 29 - JULY 2
JULY 6-10

  • Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or an advanced sailor, our program offers expert instruction in a fun and supportive environment.

    Boats Used: Optimist & 420 sailboats. J24 available for Advanced sailors.

    Class Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Junior sailing is for young sailors ages 8-17.

    All participants must be able to swim and pass a swim test without a life jacket.

  • $215 per sailor per week

    Participants can select Week One, Week Two, or both.

  • Scholarships are available upon request by contacting the Director of Jr Sailing.

    • Closed-toe shoes

    • Water bottle

    • Sunscreen + hat

    • Towel + change of clothes

    • Optional: raincoat, sailing gloves
