Welcome to the 2018 Racing Season

FHYC is very excited to announce the start of the 2018 Fair Haven YC Racing Season. We are looking forward to another great summer of great racing not only for club members, but the Fair Haven sailing community as well. We will have two separate race series’, the Summer Series and the Holiday Series.

The Holiday Series will be comprised of The Memorial Day Race on Sunday, May 27th, The Race for Independence on Sunday, July 8nd, and the Bill Brewster/Dick Pfund Memorial Race on Sunday, Sept. 2rd. Scores will be tallied and the top three finishers will be announced.

We are making a change this year to the Summer Series in that we are going to hold a race every Sunday to avoid the confusion we had last year. The Summer Series will begin with the first race on Sunday, June 23th, and continue every Sunday, except the three holiday weekends, until the last race on Sept. 10th. That will give us ten race days with two “Throw-Outs”.
